Chadd 916 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 The torch's are real popular in D-3 hockey, they arent a bad twig, they just lack solid durability but they have a 60-day warranty which is a major positive.Lack durability? Some of the sticks I sold two years ago are still in use.worst durability. we had the christian deal last year, i broke 3 one pieces in one prac (torch). The shafts would crack easily too. The wood blades, besides being as think as a brick, they are pretty durable. Everyteam i saw in d3 last year with their sticks doesnt have them anymoreThe 85 flex blue ones had major problems, the red ones were more durable than anything else I have seen to date. Go Pio's 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 Chad is right...the Torch Lites (the blue ones) broke easily. That is why we discontinued those sticks. Even with our 60-day warranty, we have only experienced a 6% rate of return on the Torch. If we only offered a 30-day warranty, this rate would be less than 2%. I can stand by the fact that we do not have a persistent breakage issue on this model.
