Graf Outsoles

Since Graf has gone to composite outsoles, is there much difference in performance between the composite and the plastic type ones that they used to use? Thanks.

The performance is nothing that I have noticed. They have now gone to a New OUTSOLE (texalite) that is some sort of carbon look alike but is not carbon. It's suppose to be stronger and less expensive.

Sounds like the Texalium that CCM uses on of their products.

Maybe, I'm not sure. Everyone has their own spin and word for things.

my friend has a pair of 703s with the new outsoles. seems stiffer to me than the traditional ones, but just as thick (composites are much thinner). Seems almost like texalium with a thick acrylic shell over it.
