Mission Dealers near Pittsburgh

We sell Mission Ice skates, and we sell a pretty decent amount. I have no problem with Mission Ice Skates, and have skated there Inlines for years. We just did not have in stock what he was looking for. I would def. agree with you on the "peer pressure" inlfluence though, that in kids come in just to get something because someone told them too. I try to correct them, but some of those kids are tough to crack haha

It's not just kids either. One of the guys on my team last season had a buddy who was looking for some sticks and info on skates. I pack up a few of my leftover shafts/OPS for him to look at and take them to a game. The he says he always uses Ultra light shafts and offers me $50 for an OPS. Next up, he asks about skates. After half an hour of complaints about his skates and some really dumb questions, he says he's going to get "something from Bauer" because that's all he ever skated in. Not only that, he expects top of the line skates for $200.

I don't mind helping people and I don't expect them to do whatever I tell them, but people wasting my time really pisses me off.

Definately, We had some guy come in last night looking to get his son his first OPS. We had a couple used ones there, but the only one that suited his needs was a first generation response. He then insisted on asking us for 15 min. straight if this stick would make is son a better player, if it was light, if he could change the blade, if his son would be able to play with a straight curve, and if he didnt like it could he sell it back to us, etc.

I answered all these ?'s nicely, but did it piss me off or what haha

You expect that to some degree in a shop. I was just trying to help the friend of a teammate after a game.
