yea i recently just got a set of the sp5000 pads, i dont even have to think about going cown into butterfly, they do it automaticaly. The thing that i like the most about the pads is the knee craddle, instead of having stacks, it just has one big block. When ever i tried on the velocitys (no offence) when i went into butterfly my knee kept sliding off the craddle.

The sp5000 is a box pad, similar to the rbks, but the 5000 have so much more flex in the Rbks. They also rotate a lot better than them

I couldn't say as far as the 5Ks go but then I wouldn't compare the smith's with that model of RBKs.

But far too often you see comparisons made on the boards by people that haven't used either of the products that they are talking about, I just wondered if you had actually had a pair of RBKs on the ice.
