Remman 0 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 A tapered blade would fit in there...
Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted March 21, 2007 If it is like it was when they were Inno it's not quite as simple as heat and pull. Inno didn't use hot melt glue, they used epoxy to literally fuse the composites. Some people were able to pull the blade, but it wasn't pretty.
ATLstealth09 0 Report post Posted March 22, 2007 You should be able to see a fine line where the fuse point is. If this is like a real Dolomite, you should be able to get it out. If you can't see the line, line up a tapered blade with the shaft and heat above that mark about two to three inches with a heat gun. Be aware that you should probably line it up with a Dolomite 2 blade (which you should get anyway, since it's the best tapered blade out there). If you don't have one, heat about 1-2cm above the point lined up with another tapered blade.Good luck. I've done it once already, and it came out pretty clean. Actually, it came out perfectly.
