T-Flex Question

Recommended Posts

OK, I recently posted about picking up a griplite, and got some good responses. Well i ahve a couple of questions I figured I'd throw out there.

1) I'm a sucker for the Lidstrom pattern, but it's a pain to find blades with that pattern where I am. So, I was using a CCM V.40 Lecavalier blade on my Griplite, but it was really blade heavy. I don't normally worry about stick weights, but this felt "clunky".

Anyway, I broke down and bought an AK27 Jovo blade. Once I put it on my griplite, balance problem solved. My question, anyone have expirience with this combo? I noticed the tenon was shorter than most of my other standard blades, can I expect it to blow out my shaft, as I've read used to happen with Inno blades? Also, the thing I liked about the griplite(other than the grip) is the feel, does anyone know how the feel on the Warrior blade is? I have a pro-stock dolo, and I like it, I'm hoping it's similar.

2) My second question is I found a Grip T-Flex shaft in the "bargain" bin. It looks almost exactly like my griplite, same army green color, same grip. Is this shaft any good? I already have a tapered shaft that I'm happy with, but I'm kind of curios. Anyone have any opinions on a grip T-flex shaft?

I like my old T-Flex graphite. It has held up well and I still dig the graphite weave the shaft has. It's a light shaft at 280 grams. If they had it in a bargain bin here, I would for sure pick up another one.

I want it if you don't! Do you know if it is pro-stock? I don't ever remember seeing a grip t-flex retail, but then again I never were saw many regular ones around either.

It might be prostock. There's no player name on it, but this place sells a good amount of prostock sticks. I got a prostock Adrenaline shaft out of the same "bargain" bin.

The shaft is 100 flex, and it looks and feels almost identical to my griplight.

Those things are worth their weight in gold. I had two old t-flexes and they were awesome. One of my favourite shafts. Popped in a synthesis hybrid and you got yourself an awesome combo.

it could be a pro stock, I got one and it doesn't say pro stock any where.
