Yeah I know what you mean. I use a pair of XX's about 2 times a week (my spare pair of skates) which I've had for about 7 months now and they are starting to look a little rugged. They still feel good though. Hopsfully Bauer can address that issue.

Thats not too bad I mean i used them 6 times a week so ill give the skates the benifit of the doubt, but I've had skates last a ton longer. Once a boot loses its stiffness its pretty much over for me, and it only took the vapors 2.5 months to do that.

Yeah I use Pro Tacks...they are the best skates I've ever had in terms of durability. Stiff as hell after 11 months of heavy usage. I'm just waiting to see how the Vector Pros hold up before I grab a pair.
