Fuel Shaft?

I am just curious to this, my bud picked up what appears to be a Fuel shaft from the shop at a Blue's game (this was a couple weeks back). Is the Fuel offered as a shaft/blade combo or was it a Fuel OPS with the blade cut off and a new blade inserted? And on the stick, it says Fuel and where the 120 would be it says Fuel Grip instead. I hope you guys understand my explanation. I'll try to post up pics later if needed. Thanks in advance.

P.S. This was Matt Walker's stick, just for anyone who needed to know.

It's a shaft painted to look like a Fuel OPS. Walker likes a 2 piece, mission wanted to get the fuel name out, so this gets the best of both worlds. There is no fuel shaft at retail.

The shop wouldn't bother cutting the blade off, they'd sell it with the broken blade.

Most likely true in that it's probably another shaft that was just painted. But he's a pro, he can have whatever he wants. You never know, Mission might have Fuel 2pieces and he's testing it.

That was what I was thinking, I just wanted to make sure.Isn't there a Mission rep active on these boards? Maybe he can help...And I'll try to post up pics of it today.

Fuel 120 was going to come out in shaft form. However, something happened along the lines and the V-Hex became it.
