TPS R1 shaft

Recommended Posts

Did a search and came up with nothing.

Does anyone know what year this shaft came out and what market was it targeted at? At 280grams for the junior, seems to be a low-end shaft.

Thanks

They both had the same red paintjob, but logo in the middle says "R1" while the redlite had its own "REDLITE" with arrows. The R1 paintjob looks exactly like the R2 that takes tapered blades but with the words "R1" in the middle instead.

Anyone else have info on this shaft?

Just a redlite as mentioned, but in the Response style paintjob. I believe they were all pro issue.

After hearing that these could all be pro-issue, I asked the seller to double check if the shaft is in fact a junior and not a senior, he told me that it is in fact a junior shaft(junior inscribed on it) and it had a standard blade in it. It also weighs 280g which seems to be quite heavy for junior shaft compared to the 200g Easton UltraLite.
