Easton z-bubble grip shaft

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I would like to know what your opinions are on Easton grip shafts?

Do you think a grip shaft helps you or is it harder to puckhandle with compared to a glossy finish? In other words, does the grip make your bottom hand harder to slide on the shaft?

From your experience, can you estimate how long the grip lasts? In the past I have heard that the material Easton uses wears off fast? Has their grip coating improved since?

Thanks,

The grip IMO has improved. There isn't as much peeling anymore and my CNT grip has all of its grip still through 3 months use.

Easton has different grip on different sticks. I like the grip, and got used to it so much that I really can't play well without it. You will have to get used to the lower hand not sliding as easily, but any changes like that always take getting used to. I like it, and some people hate it. Like most things it's PP.

My Z-Bubble grip has lasted almost 2 years, (i'm not sure how I've gotten the shaft to last that long) but my Stealth wore off after 3 or 4 games. The synthisis grip seems to last well but not quite the same as the Z-bubble. The RBK Sickick seems similar to the Synthisis.

Some danglers don't like it since they say they can't slide their hands up and down their shafts easily. I don't have any problem sliding my hands up and down, but I don't hold my stick with a death grip. (may explain why it's easier for others to lift my stick)

The only experience I have is with their 2005 and newer grips and have had no problem with them.
