RBK Reebok 5k pants

Does the 5k pant feature a removable / replaceable shell? I know there is nothing that would suggest this on the feature list, but then again I have seen teammates with pants that do have removable shells while not advertised by the manufacturer (Pro Tacks, Mission M 1).

Please understand that I am in an area where I cannot check the products in store. So please comment.

Also, can anyone compare the protection of the 5k to the Jofa 7500 girdle? I thought they were pretty much the same product but I could be wrong.

The 5k pants do not have a removable shell. The new 9k pants do.
