If you don't have a place to stay, might I suggest the Four Seasons downtown. I know its pretty pricey, but any place that greets me with cookies and milk is good in my book. Its also attached to Pacific Centre.

When I stayed at the 4 Seasons (in NY City), they brought board games for us to keep up into our room. It was a great hotel. The best I have ever stayed in. It was also fun to see some celebrities there. One of them was Jery Springer.
