ESPN's The Season

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a link to it online somewhere? It was the show on ESPN where they followed the Red Wings and Avalanche around for an entire year and filmed it. I'm really trying to find the Red Wing's one, I think it was from 03/04. I know its kind of obscure, but I've had no luck finding it.

my brother and I were just talking about that... he actually has a VHS taping of it somewhere... he just finished a move, so if he finds it... I'll see if he can get me a copy somehow.

Were those with a lot of "background" material like lockerroom scenes, airport stuff and all the other stuff which is interesting?

If so, i want both as well.

Yeah, is was basically a documentary style show that followed the team on road trips, I believe they also detailed Stevie Y's rehab for an injury that season, and if memory serves me correct... it was our first exposure to Sean Avery.. it focused on him a bit, and how he basically spent every other night as a scratch and whatnot, and spending the night on the bike watching the games.
