How often do pros change out/rotate their equipment?

Probably a stupid question that has a broad range of answers but I was just curious how often pros get new skates, etc. I mean with break in times and what not it can't be too often. But then you see guys like Ovechkin who it seems like they are wearing a different skate each game, different holders, etc. that take time to adjust to. I dunno, give me some feedback.

If you play around with the search, you should be able to locate some information. Some guys go through skates every few games and other guys use the same gloves forever.
