Red X's, a Canadian Flag before the the NBH Logos at the top and it says Team Canada where the monocomp thing is near the blade.

PM Me and I can give you some pics of what my USA XXX Lite looks for reference.

thanks for that, i know that this is all personal opinion and preference but what do you guys recommend in terms of which one is a better performing stick, the choice for me is either a prostock NBH Vapor XXX-lite or a prostock Easton Synergy SL

In my opinion, I've used both and hands down I would pick the XXXLite if you can get a pattern and flex you really like. I found the performance and durability of the XXXLite to be worlds better than the SLs I've had. Just my opinion and my .02.

3 months is a lot to ask for from a XXXlite or SL.

do you know if they break in the shaft or the blade? im thinking of getting the xxx lite shaft with a blade instead of the one piece. ive also tossed round the dolomite instead. i imagine that if the xxx lite opc had durablity problems in the shaft, the tapered shaft would be the same.

if an XXXlite isnt gonna last that long there really isnt to much of a point in gettin it, are there any issues with the One90 cuz EWH has them too in a similar curve for the same price, no forget it its 122 flex (i need like and 85)

what would you recommend instead of the XXX-lite for similar performance at the same price (nothing over $120)

for the XXXlite the shaft seems to be an issue, recently I've heard quite a bit of people talking about it breaking just below their lower hand or inbetween them. The SL commonly breaks in the blade. I believe the SL is better for durability but if so it's only marginal.

If you must get a stick that will last 3 months consider a TPS stick, an 8.0, a ST and the like. EWH has a few different pro stock TPS sticks for relatively cheap.

i dont necessarily need it to last 3 months, i would really like it if it lasts for three months but that may or may not happen so im not too sure, the xn10 seems like a pretty nice stick, but i heard that has some durabilty issues too, like it can snap like a toothpick or something like that (then again almost all lightweight sticks have durability issues)

The good thing about TPS sticks is that if you're careful you can just heat and pull out the blade if the blade breaks on you... I'd still consider TPS sticks to have some of the most durable high-end sticks of any maker across the board.

You should be able to have your choice of pro stock sticks for $130 or under... don't NOT get a stick just because a few of us told you not to. Do your research and find something you like and hope it lasts... in the end you'll be happier because you'll have the stick YOU want.

I've been using a XXX Lite for over 6 months (averaging 1 game a week) and I've had no issues with it. I'm like you though, not very hard on sticks but that doesn't mean I don't take slapshots. I'm just not a big heavy guy leaning into it a lot.

I was at EWH a few weeks ago and one of the guys there swears by the Mission Hex1. He said he's played with one a long time and they're tanks. I read the reviews online here and there were mixed reactions though. Everyone loved the stick at first and then some came back to complain. I've tried out the Hex for 3 games now and you couldn't tell it wasn't brand new, so...so far so good. As for performance I haven't noticed any drop off between it and my XXX Lite (except the Hex is a little shorter but they'll throw in extension plugs if you ask them). It feels just as lite to me, and the grip on the stick is very nice - similar to the XXX lite.

PS The Hex is not a pro stock so you still get the 30 day warranty just in case. The phone number is printed right on the stick.

I have a pro stock XN10 and a Response lite, the Response lite is my favorite stick. The grip zone is just barely grippy, more textured than grippy. It's slightly lighter than the XN10 and better balanced(which I didn't know they could do!!!). I couldn't tell you about durability as it's barely in my stick rotation(I just can't justify using it right now when I have a few other sticks that I'm used to and used to the curves of those sticks). The only issue with it is that the blade isn't as stiff as the XN10 but it's still as still if not stiffer than sickicks, kroniks, xxxlites and other sticks. The only other blade besides the xn10s blade that is stiffer is one of those 10.0 pro stock sticks with the thick blade... love the blades on those!

XN10 465g

response lite 450g

But the balance point is about 2.5-3" higher on the response lite than the XN10.

Remember mine is pro stock, not sure how much a retail XN10 weighs and pro stocks will differ depending on who ordered it. Mine is a RP19 so I'm pretty sure it's close to retail but who knows.

I know that but the only consistent comparison we can make for pro stocks is to retail because pro stocks vary from one to the other.
