I bought the book for my own informational purposes, so I can't comment on the quality of the included drills, but the book is full of them.I thought the text was well written and I learned quite a bit of positional technique that really helped guide me where to go in my beer league games.If you need more specific info, just ask... RIght now, they're just doing a breakout where they just look to skate the puck straight out of our own zone or just chip it into the neutral zone.Any drills, etc. that I might try? usahockey22 0 Report post Posted May 16, 2007 The sports illustrated guide to Hockey seems OK...If you really want to see good plays/formations, and how to play different positions, you should just spend as much time as you can watching good teams play...a local college or junior team (games and practices if you want), pro teams, as well as NHL on tv.
