finnally bought skates

after asking about pretty much every skate there is i finally found a pair. bought a pair of 8090's on ebay for 220 total. i think its not to bad of a deal. what do you guys think? i used to have supreme 6000's that i really liked. bought the same size 8090's. do you think theyll fit the same?

I'd say . Did you buy them new? And I had them this year and they were great.

ya it is a bit late but the auction was almost over and i figured i can probly sell them for close to what i payed. and no they werent new but there supposedly in mint condition and only skated on a couple times. we'll see when i get them

Bauer’s **90 series skates fit completely differently than the supreme line models ending in 00. They are buildt around a different last. In the 8090 the instep and width of the skate are both quite a bit wider that the 6000. 8090's are more comparable to Bauer’s Gold and Silver Classics in size and fit.

They are a great skate for the buck, if they fit you properly that is.

hmmm. ok. well im coming from a ccm in an E width. i dont think a D in bauer would be wider. maybe the same but not wider. my 700's werent like the older models. they came with the lightspeeds aswell

It is still a different last (boot) than the 8090 series. It will fit more like a "D" width CCM than a "D" width Bauer Supreme 6000/7000. I think I read somewhere that these '90s were the same last as the old Micron Megas. I can believe that too.

I'll try and reinforce some positive. Just because it is a different style boot doesn't mean it won't fit right. I just came from Tacks into Vapor XXV's and they fit very well. But, I tried them on and new that before purchase.

its alright. im almost positive theyll fit since i have a pretty wide foot. if not. like i said o-well. i'll sell them for what i payed and buy some missions i liked.
