Tuuk lightspeed pro

Quick question. Why does nike bauer use the tuuk fasteel(light speed pro)and the tuuk super steel for the new 07 vapors? Is it because its efficient and saves materials? Is the steel going to be stuck on the holder and cannot be removed?

they use the fast steel in the lower end vapors becasue thats how it always is, the nicer skates get the stainless steel, then the lower skates will get some mix of carbon steel, or "faststeel" its to help cut down cost of production so the retail price can be lowered. i dont know for sure, but i beleive that you can remove the fast steel and put in stainless if you want by loosening the blot in the back tower and jsut swapping it out, but i could be wrong on that.

according to the catalog, the steel in the lightspeed pro holder is non replaceable.
