Skate Problem?

Hey Guys, hows it going?

I'm starting to get a new pain in my foot when I skate. whats happening is that it's starting to hurt bad right on the top part of my foot over my arches. The weird thing is, is that this is the first time I'm starting to get this pain, and it hurts bad. I've tried tying my skates looser and tighter, and for the most part the pain is still there.

Back when I used to play juniors (a little over a year ago) I used to skate 7 times a week and I never got this pain, but now that I'm only playing mens league and open hockey its starting to hurt.

I've been wearing the bauer vapor line since it came out, and I've had this last pair of xxx's for over two years,so it's weird that it's starting to hurt now. I have high arches, some what of a wide fore foot, narrow heel, and big ankles. Being that most of you guys know more about skates then me, is there anything you recommend I do? or any other brand or different style skate I should switch to? thanks for all you help in advance.

I had that problem when I was wearing tacks, but switched to the bauer supreme line which is a deeper boot, and it hasn't been an issue since.

But if you are in the same skates for over 2 years, and only noticing it now, it's hardly a too shallow skate issue.

Had you got orthodics in your skate, is it possible that after 2 years either custom molded orthodics, or your superfeet/shockdoctors just wore out, and are not supportive like they were.

Apart from that, I'm out of ideas.

Thanks for the reply Alls. No, I dont have any custom footbeds or anything like that. But I'm a little curious and was wondering if any of you guys could name some skates that have a fairly deep boot?
