Its just a radar gun in a box. Shoot the puck inthe box, read the speed.

I'd guess the same thing. Proximity sensors and such to gauge the "accuracy" of the shot. Maybe even frickin' laser beams, too!

Although I seriously question the mindset of encouraging people to take unfamiliar sticks and whack the snot out of a puck into what looks like a 12 inch square opening in a stocked hockey store. Nets and all, but still...
