sliding toe brige?

Im just curious to the sliding toe brige ,and what does it do?

It alows the pad to rotate easier on your leg. Traditional toe laces can bind up hindering rotation. Still if you put a knot in the laces 1.5 inches down you can accomplish about the same thing as the slider.

Its true design is to help keep your ankle in line with your knees when in the butterfly position, to help stop over extension of the knee. The other advantage is it also lowers your skate to the ground, saving you from lifting your pad to much to shuffle across the net
