R2Xn10 Shaft Shape

From what I have seen with the TPS taper shafts, they are noticeably thicker and fatter than the OPS version. Is this the same with the XN10 version? I want an R2Xn10, but dont want it if it is significantly fatter than the OPS.

Any Idea on why TPS does this? It really pisses me off because Id rather buy the shaft, but not when its so thick

i was looking at shafts at my LHS last week and i myself really liked the shape and weight of their new R8 shafts. i use the redlite xn10 myself and think their R8 is very similar even thought it's a tapered shaft
