RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted July 13, 2007 There is a file that you burn onto a disk then put that disk into your DVD player and hit play...the file runs a program that "flashes" your machine to play DIVX files.I thought it was on www.divx.com....but I couldn't find it when I looked. Another guy at work who's done it couldn't find it either. Maybe they've moved them on the site? The files are specific to each model/company. I've got a Daytek machine I want to try flashing.Does anyone have the link?
BK 0 Report post Posted July 13, 2007 I didn't think there was one. I had to buy a dvd player that supported divx.

RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted July 13, 2007 here's what I got back from my friend at work:...To find the list you have to go into the actual DivX player that's in the download and click on tools and it guides you from there to the list of certified "devices"...Sadly....Daytek isn't supported. precursor 0 Report post Posted July 14, 2007 You can use Nero and some other programs to convert the AVI into a DVD formatted disc that you can use. I do it for my parents all the time, and it works great.
