hockey shops in columbia south carolina

Hello,

im going to be going to columbia south caroina to see my sister next week, and i was wondering if there are any shops areound there.

i am in need of new skates, so id love to find a shop rathere then blindly ordering online!

well being from concord north carolina, i can tell you there's not much in the way of ice hockey shops in the 2 carolinas. pro shops at the rinks are the only option and they are really overpriced. (have you ever paid $299 for a synergy sl??)

however, if you're willing to drive, the carolina ice palace pro shop in north charleston is very very nice. it is about 90 mins east of Columbia on I-26.

Thanks for the kind words Ramen. If you've been to my shop I'm sure that you've seen me. I'm there almost everyday. I'll be glad to help out any other MSHer's. Just stop by and see me or one of my guys. And please ignore the website. The pro shop section is very out of date. We are currently in the process of updating everything.

There are no hockey shops in Columbia. We don't even have a rink anymore! It has closed for the second time. Someone bought it and it is scheduled to reopen in a few months. The Carolina Ice Palace does have the best proshop in Columbia or Charlotte NC. Plus Charleston is one of the best cities in the south. Defiantly worth a day trip.

That is correct. We've had a increase of figure skaters lately due to the rink in Columbia shutting down. Hopefully they get it back up for you guys but if not we aren't too far away at least.
