CCM v8.0c compared to last years v10.0

i was just looking through the new vectors and saw that this years v8.0 (http://www.icewarehouse.com/descpage.html?pcode=V8C) seemed to have many of the same qualities of last years v10.0 (http://www.inerciaonline.com/images/catalo...10stick_260.jpg). are they the exact same stick?

Pick one up... no. It's still closer to the v130 than the 10.0(at least that's how I feel). It's heavier than the 10.0(last year and this year) but it has a similar taper. The blade isn't very good(in my opinion) as it has gotten a little soft.
