pro hockey players salaries vs other pro sports

well I just stumbled on these sites that post player salaries and is it just me or NHL players don't make that much money compared to players in other sports. the highest pay is in the nfl then close to each other mlb and nba and the nhl is way behind. The top salaries in those sports are over 20 mil per year in the nhl the highest payed player (Jagr) not even reaching 10 with 8,360,000. The only sport that pays worth is soccer in US.

the conclusion is that if you want to make money go in to nfl, mlb or nba.
