OLD Innovative PF1000

I have an old innovative pro PF1000 stick from long time ago (5 years+) and these days, I have been thinking of using it for stick and puck to test out different blade patterns. I haven't played for many years and it is rather expensive to try different patterns with OPS (I learnt this the hard way, I bought a prostock One90 with a lie that is way too off for me). I want to try out blades that are good for wristshots and so far I am thinking about the P88 One30 blade (around $30 CDN). Do you guys think that I should just give up on this old shaft (it is in extremely good condition since it was my backup stick back then) and not waste anymore money on it? I'd probably also have to put in an extension to the end to make the stick a little bit longer.

I remember using these about 12 years ago and getting a deal from the LHS only to have them snap in a month. Inno sucked until about 2001.
