I would definitely go forearm when you don't have the pads on. It's ridiculous how many more nerve endings there are in the fingertips!

It hurt, but I think mainly it's because of the adrenaline and then me being shaky added to it.

You feel less pain during an adrenaline rush. Trust me, it's because of the ridiculous amount of nerve endings in the fingertips. I know, I tested on mine for eight years before I switched to the forearms.

I have diabetes, and I allways used to take a bottle of coke, or something like that to the bench. Then, a couple of months ago, my doc told me about Glucogel, wich is a gel with a high % of glucose. The great thing about it, is that it is sealed, and its useable for like 3-4 years (unopened of course). So you can just put a couple in your team's first aid kit, and you don't have to worry about bringing something to the bench every time you play.. The only negative thing about it, is that it tastes reeeally bad :P
