Mission Skate Width

Recommended Posts

Accoring to this discussion, http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...=mission++width, I understand that Mission offers E width only on some lower end models and offers D and EE width on higher end models.

How much difference is there in fit between the E on lower models and EE on the higher end ones?

I'm interested in the Fuel XP skate. I tried low end L series skate in E because I read that the fit is similar to the XP and found the fit to be pretty good. Does anyone know how much wider a Fuel 95 or higher XP in EE would be?

Thanks !

Thank for your response, I was hoping to get your input.

Could you also tell me, the Supplefit and the height of the boot aside, do the AG & XP skates have similar dimensions in other areas, such as depth and forefoot width?

One of my former teammates just bought some AG 90s and he couldn't fit his foot into an XP, but the AG fit him very well.

I managed to have a skate in a pair of 95 AG sized 8 EE. They felt the same in forefoot as the low-end L-series 8E and the depth was about the same too.

The Supplefit was very interesting. Although I felt as if there was a hinge in the ankle allowing a lot of lateral flex, the skates felt very stable. It's definitely a very different feel. The forward flex was excellent.
