tennis over grip for grip

Recommended Posts

i was re gripping my racket and when i took off the old grip i thought it would make a nice grip for my hockey stick so i threw it on the stick and it feels quite good. Anyone else do this or atleast tried or thought about it?

I don't know if I replied in the other thread, but I tried it. The grip was good but my thumb rubbing against it caused the tennis grip to rip after 2-3 games. It would depend what type of grip you're looking for and the quirks involved (i.e. Tacki-Mac being to thick, impact on palm discoloration, etc.) but I wouldn't recommend it in general.

I tried a few tennis grips and they were okay. It depends on what type of grip you like. I personally didn't like the tacky grip type. I used to have those old Slazenger or Dunlop grips and they worked pretty good for me (soft and cushiony but not too gripy).
