When Thermablade was doing their player testing they engaged 'skating expert' Steffany Hanlen with Quantum Speed high performance skating systems.

I spoke with a couple of her coaches and was impressed with what they had to say regarding their thought process of power skating Technique, power, speed

Has anybody had any experience with Quantum Speed. They are offering an adult power skating camp for the winter in Edmonton.

well, that was a quantum mechanics joke, but I've heard that quantum speed blows. and that they probably smoke crack in their free time.

the reason i said what i did, was there was a thread a few weeks back about someone being fit for skates by them (or their minions/peeps)... via picture. yeah.

and it goes without saying that they were not fit properly.

oh yeah, and the Thermablade is a total load of shit, contrary to what "Dr." Alain Hache claims. I pulled up some of his material and it was a total crock.

I've skated on the Thermablade 10 times now. So whether you think it's a crock or not they work...the market will determine that anyway, not you or I.

To be fair, just because he's got a Ph.D. doesn't mean he's not full of shit (trust me on this one). But, a quick glance at what department he's working for and his list of publications shows he's got creds.

LOL his list of publications in accredited journals deal with optics. he's bright, but that doesnt mean he's not full of shit.

Also, the market is dumb, and will believe what it's told.

The science is good in principle, but he offers NO conclusive data on the loss of resistance between ~40-70nm thick wet layers. Also, the bone head forgot to label a graph. I think thats taught in 3rd grade.

for the record, my fields are physics, mathematics, and economics. And I too am published.
