Salming Evolution Pants

Anyone know anything about Salming Evolution Pants as far as protection ? Do they stack up well against CCM Pro Tacks and Tackla 9000s ? And how about cost and availability ?

They're way overpriced. If they retailed for dealer cost, they still wouldn't be a great deal. They're not even remotely close to the Pro Tacks or the 9000s. They're more like the 492 in quality.

How do these pants differ from the Salming Protector Lite that were given good reviews on MSH ?

I haven't looked at a pair in over a year, but the main difference is they tried to make them less bulky, particularly around the hips.

I preferred the Protector Lites, since I liked the greater protection.
