How Come?

How come eveyone has the Bauer 5000 helmets and Itech concept 2 masks or rbe but when I bought a large rbe mask and tried to put it on my medium bauer 5000 the screws at the top would not align. Even the mediums do not work.

What can I do?

Did you try flipping the front mount clips around? I've never seen an issue with that shield and helmet (never used it myself but know others who haven't had an issue).

Instead of using the plastic clips that come with it i use the metal clips that go with the bauer cages

You will need the L shaped clips that basically act like a hinge offset for the cage. That will solve the spacing issue.
