Kovalchuk flex

I am sorry if this has been posted but i couldn't find it. does anyone know what flex Ilya Kovalchuk uses?

I've been using Kovy pro-returns for a couple of years. I don't have a stick in front of me, but they're equivalent to an Easton 100 flex.

I'm thinking the Innovative 1100s I have are 220 flex.

BTW - Do you play for the UGA club team?

yeah. I am in my third year on the team. Also thanks for the info. i got a Kovy easton SE sitting my room and im debating between selling it or attempting to use it. the only problem is i am 5 foot 8 and would have to cut a couple of inches off.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 5'9", but cut my sticks down pretty short anyway. It's a heck of a curve to get used to. Lately I've been switching between the Kovy returns and Drury retail.

For me, stickhandling is much easier with the Drury than with the Kovy. And I can actually use the backhand - unlike the Kovy banana. But toe drags are sick with the Kovy curve.

Good luck with the season! I used to live in Athens, and am likely to move to Augusta in the near future. I'm planning on watching you guys play a few games this year. What's your number?
