Girdle Slipping Issues...

Recommended Posts

So I use an OLD Cooper800 girdle and I've been using a one piece moisture wicking-jock suit. THe suit is Lycra, obviously and the girdle is a nylon or similar material.

Before I started wearing the one-piece, the girdle stayed in place well because I was sweating a ton and it was sticking to my skin. Now, I don't sweat nearly as much because of the one-piece, not to mention it's much more "slippery" on the girdle...

So the girdle slips down all throughout my games. Bummer, I know.

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas I could use to keep it up? I thought about using some sort of swear band or tube sock-top around my thighs to form a friction between the two pieces... I love the one-piece and reallllly don't want to go back to being SO drenched and uncomfortable while playing.

Anyone ever have something like this?

Thanks.

Edit: This is mostly in roller.

Now, I don't swear nearly as much because of the one-piece...

I was thinking of getting one of these, but if it means losing my potty mouth, no thanks!

Seriously, though, you could try suspenders (of the regular sort that you clip on) or just get some ice pants.

I suppose I should have specified.

I mostly play roller, the reason I use a full girdle is that I have shell that I use when I play ice, so I don't have to have two seperate pieces of pants.

Still, a regular old pair of suspenders (not ones for ice pants) would work, no? You just clip them to the top of your girdle. What about a nylon belt or something? That might not work as well, but the sweat bands thing I fear won't be as effective as you think it might.

Yeah, suspenders may be the answer. I lace it in the front already and have a belt around my inline pants also... so that may be the way to go.
