easton stick warranty

Recommended Posts

i just broke my SE (still under warranty) in tonight's game, and i was talking to my coach about it. he told me that easton usually doesnt send back the identical equipment broken, just whatever they have around. i have a hard time believeing that, but i have never dealt with the easton warranty. does anybody know how true this is?

they will send you whatever you send them, unless it is a discontinued model. for example if you were to send back an sl, you would get an se back, but they will give you same flex, pattern etc. no matter what.

Another reason why coaches should just coach and the guys in the pro shop take care of equipment. I don't tell the coach his power play sucks but he is still an expert on equipment problems.......... Some things never change.......

Wow, isn't that the truth. I love when a coach comes in and tries to size one of his player's for equipment. I just stand by to clean up his mess.

Back to the original topic, I figure they upgrade you if they don't have the equivalent in stock. Last year, I remember a friend broke his si-core grip and they sent him back an SL Grip. Whereas I sent back a regular non-grip si-core and got a stealth back. I'm not sure how this has changed, but just giving you some feedback from my experience with Easton's replacements.
