Grip Print for gear NOT STICKS

Recommended Posts

i bough skate socks for the first time (very thin, moisture wicking easton socks). the easton socks have a tiny bit of grip material at the toe. the first time i wore the socks, it felt like the bottom of my foot would move around slightly and i didn't like the sensation.

yesterday i sprayed the bottom of the socks with performix. during my game last night, it worked great. i am very happy with this product.

i have two long sleeve underarmours that i dont use because my elbow pads shift around with them. i'm going to spray performix on them too.

Happy to have been of some help. As for spraying your UA shirts I suggest that you spray your elbow pads instead. That is what I did and it has been awesome.

Another thing you could try is "Auto Goop" which you should be able to find at Home Depot or Crappy Tire. It is a weather-sealant adhesive. I first experimented it on some biking gloves. For those of you who bike, you'll know that most gloves come with a rubber type print on the tips of the index and middle finger for grip on brake levers. Pretty much every glove I'd ever worn had those grips wear out in 1 ride or two. I brushed some of this stuff on, let it dry and tested it out. Not only was it more tackier, but the stuff lasted an entire season. So then I decided to test them out on my elbows and to my surprise, they worked like a charm.

As strange as this sounds, squirt a small spot of hot-glue and smear it flat so it absorbs a bit into the fabric. Try it on an old rag first though... and maybe don't use much.
