2008 Boston Bruins thread

It was nice to see the B's making good contributions all-star weekend (Lucic in the young-stars game, Thomas in net during the 3rd, Chara winning fastest shot, and Savard with the game winner). I thought Thomas did very well, he made some good key saves to help the East take the win, it was nice to see all of his hard work pay off. What do you guys think?

I thought Thomas looked delighted to be there, including his spinning like a turtle when he got lit up in the shootout.

Seems like a good guy. I thought him, manny and DiPietro were fun to watch, as was my homer pick, Ovey

I've been pretty hard on Thomas the last 2 seasons, seeing his age, and playing style, etc. He's come into his own, so I'll give the guy kudos as he deserves it. It's apparent he's been working his butt off the last 2 seasons, and his style has become a little more calm and collected as opposed to the frantic/antsy style of play he had when he first came up to Boston.

It was good to see the B's presence overall at the ASG. Well represented, very well represented.
