Wood sticks

With Sherwood's (I think it was?) announcement that they are ending production of wood sticks, are other manufacturers close behind?

I use Easton wood sticks and this worries me a bit. I don't like composite sticks and i'm a little worried about the idea of being forced to switch.

I don't think we'll ever see a day without a wooden stick, not in my life time anyway. We play against a Rec (beer league) team, a lot, and a majority of them use wood. It's a cheaper alternative, and sometimes preferred alternative to the composites. ALthough there is a big increase in the use of composites vs. woodies.
