one95 sizing

hey guys i just found out that the new One 95 Skates will have the same sizing as the Vapor 40's unlike the One 90's which fit a half size different. makes things easier for sure

Um, actually, no.

ONE90 was fitting half a size down from Vapor XXX. When XXXX came out, it had the ergo toecap and it allowed skaters to go down half a size from XXX. So...nothing has changed.

my bauer rep just told me today, sizing between one 95 and vapor 40 are the exact same. are you saying that the sizing between the one 90 and vapor 40 were the same as well. I have had some customers who went down a half size from their xxx to xxxx but according to our brand new bauer gages we got there is a half size difference between the one 90 and xxxx.

Yes, that is EXACTLY what I am saying.

The sizing did not change from XXX to XXXX. It was the toecap's shape that was allowing people to go down half a size.

So, those who were wearing a XXX 7.5 should've been wearing a 7 to begin with. But it felt uncomfortable to them, so they went with the 7.5. The lasts were the same length.
