help me find/make a cheap coffey composite

i want to give my new father-in-law a composite (one or two piece) stick for christmas this year. he's a dyed-in-the-wool coffey curve guy, so i'm looking for either a sherwood one piece (rm7?) or a tapered shaft with a coffey blade.

i'd like to keep things relatively cheap, maybe around $80 or so, since i'm pretty broke these days. i know it's hard if not impossible to find a one-piece that cheap, so i'm leaning more towards the shaft-blade combo.

any issues with putting sherwood blades into other sticks? i see that hockeyoverstock.com has some cheap tapered shafts, so that plus a blade would be ok money-wise for me.

any other manufacturers make a good coffey clone?

Sherwood makes a OPS that is right around $99 and the Coffey curve is available. I saw it last night, don't remember the model though.

swd rm7 comes in coffey. i didnt like it though, the shaft dimensions felt kinda small because of the rounded corners.

durability-wise it's a tank (i cut off the coffey blade and threw in a forsberg woodie) and its been going strong for 5 months

Plug a SWD RM7 Coffey curve into a Bauer One50 shaft and voila!.
