Pants: CCM 892 or supreme 70

Hi

I need new pants and narrowed it down to either the CCM 892 or the supreme 70.

When i tried them on in the shop the 892 felt more protective but also much stiffer and more bulky than the supreme70s wich felt much better "out of the box". The guy in the shop said the 892s are better pants for the money (both cost the same) and would be more compareable to the one90 pants?! (he didnt have those in the shop)

I know it comes down to personal preference but i'd really like to here some opinions on both of these pants!

Do the 892s break in a lot or will they always be a much stiffer pant than the 70s? And hows the durability of both pants? 2 years ago i had the 652s and after only 1 season the liner in the thigh area was completely outworn and the shell had a lot of rips and tears ..
