Easton Ultra Lite Runner help

Recommended Posts

I have the Easton Ultra Lite Pro skate, and the blade on the left side is messed up (the metal is abnormally worn towards the front), got them sharpened today, and it was difficult to skate on, so i decided to replace the blade. i have a couple of questions as I have never done this before.

First can I buy any easton runner for this? i have these two options...

Model Year: 2008

Shot peened to edge for improved strength

420 high carbon Swedish steel

Lightweight Parabolic design

Easton LPS Lite Stainless Steel Runners

the top set looks similar to the current blade, i just dont know the difference with a parabolic blade, any help?

also it makes sense when changing one, to change the the other as well correct?

thanks!

fyi bottom of the skate has 288L, so i am assuming 288 is the size.

Either of those blades will work. The LPS2 has the additional cutouts on the blade, it's the one that comes on S15 and 1500.

what are your thoughts on them? i am lost when it comes to this, and have no idea what the difference is.

thanks!
