Federov Pattern - Lie 4 or 5

Recommended Posts

For those of you with first hand experience comparing Warrior's newer "lie labeled" Federov pattern with a PM9, which lie (4 or 5) actually matches up with the PM9? Thanks.

Warrior is notorious for mislabeling their lies. as far as i know, theyre between 1 and 1.5 off of the listed lie. do a 4 would be a 5 or a 5.5 and a 5 would be a 6 or a 6.5.

can anyone confirm this JR? Chadd?

I got the ak-27, which only comes in a lie 4, and compared to all my other lie 5's from different countries, this was definately much lower, so i'd say its pretty accurate

The original fedorov (4) is a slightly sub-5 lie. I have yet to see any of the other lies in person. Warrior doesn't have them all at the trade shows so it's almost impossible for me to do an actual comparison of them.

They seem to measure with the heel to the middle of the blade on the floor/ice/whatever. Fedorov has a very small rocker, meaning it is more accurate than blades like the Draper.
