Replacing Leg Buckle

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of Eagle Infinity and one of the leg buckles ripped out..How easy is it to replace this by myself? I am thinking about getting one of those speedy stitchers, would this be sufficient? Also, there is a local shoe store in town, could they open the pad up and insert a new one? Any thoughts, tips, techniques, etc Thanks

I don't expect to be in Canada anytime soon. How fast of a turnaround would I be looking at if I sent it to JR? Probably thinking maybe do it over the holiday break in my league.

You can change it yourself really easily with the speedy stitcher and you can get a strap from nash sports if it's a leather one.

You can get a strap puller if you wish but I just tape the strap to a yard stick and run it through. Most of the eagle pads just run the strap from one side of the pad to the other like this (I think this was a set of infinities)

You would not need to open the pad up as much as I did there though... I was working on something else as well there.
