How do Graf 502's fit?

Recommended Posts

There's a LHS near me selling a pair of 502's for $140. Anyone know how these things fit? I've worn Vapors, 703's and Vectors in the past.

I've tryed them on at the store when I was looking for new skates. It was a pretty soft boot when i laced it up, and when i flex it it was pretty soft. Mid-end model pretty decent for the price. Keep in mind the skate was made to help promote better skating.

I used to skate in Bauer Supreme 3000s and then switched to Graf 502s. The Grafs fit pretty well except the heel is too narrow so it hurts when I try to skate backwards. So I would say that the fit is similar to the old Supremes but with a narrower heel.

I've just never seen the 502 at the local Cyclone's before. The narrow heel sounds interesting. Is it narrower than a Vapor?

What about the 625?

i used the 502 SEs last year and wasnt overly impressed, i found the softer boot to be a bit better for mobility and agility(coming from flexlite 12) i wasnt a big fan of the t'blades. i got the R width(D) and it locked my heel very nicely, so i had no issues there. i did find some pressure points around my toes though, and i also had blister issues in the forefoot.

overall, it was not the right boot for me. especially for straight away speed, the higher cut, stiffer Vapor Shift(XXVish Source for Sports SMU) works out much better for me.
