Mission Lieutenant Pants Question

Do these pants have any lycra above or near the knee/thigh area? I have the He10000 pants right now and the stretchy material above the knees is absolutely decimated. I wear my pants low so they ripped pretty quickly on me.

I have a pair of He10000, and I know what you're talking about. The area over the knees are just torn to bits. However, it was mentioned in the 2008 Mission Products thread that they have, hopefully, resolved this issue by moving the location of the lycra.

Unfortunately, I can't personally testify that these pants will hold up. Hopefully Santa will get me a pair of these for Christmas :D

The white crescent above the knee (it looks kind of like a boomerang) is lycra, but it is well above the knee. These replaced my old mission d2 pants. I got an extra large in both. These are a little shorter and smaller than the d2's but fit me perfect. The shin straps are placed about midway on the shin, rather than right below the knee, where i would have liked them. These are also a bit cooler, as in temperature. They're a bit thinner altogether, and there is also more mesh on them. I'm slightly concerned about the durability. Other than that i'm pretty happy with them.

the Wicked 5's had the same problem...terrible design. fall once and it's torn...

i play outdoor so i always just get whatever is cheap and/or on sale. RBK 3k's and Hyper Bronze pants are pretty cheap and I don't care if they get torn up...and they will ;)

Lycra on pants is a terrible idea, regardless of where you put it. I'm skeptical of buying Mission pants after my experience with my He10000. Don't get me wrong, the camouflage He10000s are the best looking pants I've ever owned, but they look ridiculous now with big holes over my knee.

So i finally got a game in with these things. I now have two different holes in the lyrcra and a seam is already starting to come unstitched. Mission has always been my choice for stuff, but the last pair of gloves (he7500) and now these pants are just not quite up to par with all the mission stuff i've had in the past.

I have the Boss pants and they do run short. I also noticed that these may not hold up in the long run. They are very cool looking and ventilate well, but overall my Hyper Steel pants are better in my opinion.
