Difference between R2 XN10, RL XN10, regular RedLite, etc?

I'm having a bit of trouble getting my Easton blade into my RL xn10.

I am pretty sure TPS shafts are a little wider and you need to put some tape on the tenon....I put some tape on the tenon, melted some glue onto it, and every time I try to put the blade in the tape crumbles up.

I'm using andover cloth tape, is there a better tape to use? Would it be better to just use extra extra glue to fill the extra space?

Use one piece of tape and tape up the tenon over the top and down. Heat up the shaft and jam it in there.

int. r2 has a ridiculously low flex. Its more of a 50-60 flex on an Easton scale. I had an r2 with a synergy 2 blade and it had no puck feel at all. Good for quick little snappers though.
