RBK ice boot fit vs Roller Boot

Im looking to get a pair of RBK 9Ks or 8Ks. The only rbk retailer near me is the NHL store in NYC and they sell RBK ice skates. Im going to try on the 9k ice boot but will the boot fit the same as roller boot?

The fit will be very close, but not identical. I have found that the RBK inline boots are not quite as stiff as their comparable ice counterparts.

so would a 7k ice boot be the same stiffness as the 9k roller boot

It would be close. But one thing is for certain, the 9K ice boot is stiffer than the top end RBK inline boot.

and how would the fit of the rbk 5 ice compare with the rbk 5k inline which I own ?

I haven't tried either of them on....but the same should hold true throughout the RBK lineup.

your from Long Island right? Go to the play it again in carl place they have RBK ice skates and I'm pretty sure roller ones too.

They dont have them all, but they do have the 8k's(roller). Price is $399

Last years model is on clearance, but i believe they only had a size 9 left.

yea play it again in carl place has the rbk ice and inline skates. That's my LHS.
