Graf 735 stiffness compared to a Vapor XXXX

A friend of mine is a die hard Graf bigot, and is looking to buy a new pair, but asked me about the stiffness of the retail Supra 735 versus the Vapor XXXX in the upper and ankle. I could not answer him, but I told him I would ask. Our LHS...and myself...are die hard XXXX fans so we had him try them on. He raved about the stiffness...but of course lives and breathes Graf. I even pointed him to the various threads on the quality issues...but he still won't be swayed.

He also asked if he could still do customs on the Supra 735 to make them stiffer, and if Graf does pre-drilled holes for the LS2 holders.

I don't know how the stiffness compares, but you can order the boot without the holder attached from Graf and have them also pre drill for the holders you intend to use.

I completely agree...in general. My experience with Grafs on this is the 703, the 705, and the Ultra G5. I have seen these three and skated in the 705. Specifically, I have not seen or skated in the 735. That is why I am asking for those that have the ability to compare both.
